What is MTurk?
MTurk is short for Amazon Mechanical Turk. MTurk allows you to earn some extra money in return for performing certain kinds of tasks on the internet. These tasks are usually very difficult for computers to do, but very easy for humans. An example of such a task would be - identifying how many people are present in a certain picture. Another example would be - choosing what name you like better from a list of suggestions for a certain product, such as a new soap coming out in the market.
Why does UserThoughts use MTurk?
You need a trustworthy system to get paid for your tasks - without fear of lost cheques, errors in electronic payment gateways etc. And we need to have a system that works anywhere in the world.
